Animated trilogy about the Aztecs

Discover Our World

The Mark of the Jaguar

For the first time, a Latin American culture will be the protagonist of an animated film project in the form of a trilogy. The forces of light and darkness clash within ancient Aztec mythology to present us with a world never before told.

The characters are based on real people who appear in texts such as the chronicles of Fray Bernardino de Sahagún, but with a touch of magic. This is made possible through the international co-production between Mexico–Brazil–France.

This project aims to present young audiences with epic adventures full of action, fantasy, magic, romance, and comedy through the ancient roots of Aztec culture, alongside historical characters and fantastic situations from ancient Mexican cosmogony.
